Acting with Arminelle is about learning the craft of performance in a way that is practical, playful, and genuinely supportive. We believe strong connections make better artists — and that creativity grows best in rooms where people feel safe to try things, get it wrong, laugh about it, and try again.

AwA was founded by Arminelle Fleming, an actor, director, and educator who has worked internationally and still proudly calls Townsville home. Alongside building skills and confidence, classes encourage participants to think creatively, collaborate generously, and take bold (but sensible) risks. If you’re curious, ready to have a go, or just looking for a place where creativity is taken seriously without taking itself too seriously, you’re very welcome here.
