AwA’s next production …
Inspired by our experiences with recent natural disaster events, The Next Five Minutes explores the possibilities the events that take place when a large group of young people are stranded alone at an evacuation centre.
THURSDAY 18 December @ 1pm & 7pm.
FRIDAY 19 December @ 1pm & 7pm
SATURDAY 20 December @ 1pm & 7pm
Ticket prices; Adult $30, Con (seniors, pensioners, defense) $22, School Students $20, Family (2 adults + 2 sch stu) $85
The performance runs for approximately 80minutes without an interval. Suitable for all ages but maybe more interesting for 8yrs+.
Each performance takes place at Dancenorth Thetare, cnr Walker & Stanley Streets.
Acting Workshops
AwA runs acting workshops for young people in prep to year 12. Workshops run in blocks of 6 during the school term.
MUNCHKINS: PREP-YR 2
WINKIES: YR 3 & 4
JUNIORS: YR 5 & 6
MIDDIES: YR 7-9
SENIORS: YR 10-12
Acting workshop for adults aged 18yrs+
Acting classes for people who have finished school but still keen to tread the boards.
Each term AwA runs a 6 weeks block (to coincide with a children’s classes) of acting classes for adults aged 18yrs+.
Cost of these workshops is $150 for each 6 week block = $12.50/hr.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to try new things.
